In the deep forests of Borneo, we traveled to Sarawak as Nasri pays a visit to his long house in Long Selatong. This video showcases the highlights of our experience.
It was about 25 years since Nasri has been back to this place where he once grew up. His father and fellow relatives who are Kenyah natives took us around to explore what it’s like to be living in the deep jungle.
The people of the longhouse has made this trip such a heartwarming one. The history of what this place used to be memories of clean water flowing down the Baram river and the sight of hundreds of butterflies which signifies the health of the eco system. Today, the life here suffers from severe uncontrolled logging and timber work.
